Joyner Lucas Escalates UK Vs. US Beef With “Round 2 K.O” Skepta Diss

Joyner Lucas reignites the UK vs. US rap rivalry with his fiery diss track “Round 2 K.O.” aimed squarely at Skepta.

The transatlantic rap feud between Joyner Lucas and Skepta is heating up again following Lucas’ release of “Round 2 K.O.,” a direct response to Skepta’s “Round 2.” What began as a playful jab has evolved into a full-blown lyrical battle, capturing the attention of hip-hop fans on both sides of the Atlantic.

Skepta initially sparked the rivalry earlier this month by challenging American rappers to a UK vs. US lyrical showdown. He took the first shot with “Friendly Fire,” mocking Lucas’ so-called “lyrical miracle” style. Beyond personal attacks, Lucas also challenges Skepta’s artistic identity, mocking his fashion choices and referencing his performance with Drake at Wireless Festival: “I seen you in an interview dressed like a bitch, I guess you really a top boy.”

Skepta, on the other hand, initially played coy, saying he “wasn’t even going to reply” to Lucas, though he eventually answered with “Round 2.” The grime veteran has long wanted a lyrical clash with an American artist, famously stating, “I want to clash with an American rapper.
