KSI Joins Britain’s Got Talent as New Judge, Replacing Bruno Tonioli

YouTuber, rapper and boxer KSI has been confirmed as the newest judge on Britain’s Got Talent, stepping in for Bruno Tonioli, who has left the ITV talent show due to scheduling conflicts with Dancing With The Stars in the U.S.

KSI — whose real name is Olajide Olatunji — will join Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden, and Alesha Dixon on the panel for the show’s upcoming 19th series, airing in 2026.

The Sidemen star, who boasts over 22 million subscribers on YouTube, previously appeared as a guest judge during season 18, where he pressed his golden buzzer for magician Harry Moulder, who later went on to win the series.

Speaking on his new role, KSI said:

> “I’m so grateful and happy to be a part of the Britain’s Got Talent team for another season. I had such a good time last year and I can’t wait to see some more top talent. I’m full of energy, ready to go and can’t wait to make this the most entertaining BGT season ever. Let’s do this.”

Tonioli, who joined the show in 2022 after a long run on Strictly Come Dancing, expressed sadness at leaving:

> “After three incredible series, I’ve sadly had to walk away from a job which has opened my eyes to so much incredible talent. I will miss the chaos and joy that BGT brings, as well as all the wonderful people I’ve had the privilege of working with.”

Filming for the new series begins later this year, with the 2026 edition set to air on ITV1 and ITVX.
